I was sh*t scared of doing it myself too but its not as painful as you think!

There are plenty of threads on here with step-by-step instructions but I was not keen on the idea of roasting them in the oven!

I first removed a series of small screws holding the headlight together and then used a heatgun to heat the glue around the edge, CAREFULLY pull the lens apart and the orange piece of plastic just pops out. Use the heat gun to reheat the glue and reform the seal. Replace screws.

Presto!

Hope this helps

The bulbs are orange so you can leave them but as I have discovered (because I chose not to paint the backs) reflect so much off the inside the light that they still look orange lol

I am gonna get some silver bulbs to complete the look which reminds me............

Pretty easy to do, I've done 3 sets now all in the oven (electric not gas) You're better off getting some Silvervision bulbs to complement the detango'd look as the orange bulb reflects a lot of orange onto the lense so still looks orange from some angles.
