Cool Finally finished the detango

After 13 months I've finally finished detangoing my car On a legacy it's not the easiest thing to do because no-one makes clear side repeaters

Somone on the legacy board made some lenses for us and we had to cut the old lenses off and stick the new lenses on. The rear lights are from an early series 2 legacy and I did the fronts myself by removing the orange lense What do you think?

and a new front number plate to finish off the front mount

Very nice work mate, you've got that car looking really smart now. I like the FMIC especially

Any other plans for it?

I hardly use the car so hopefully I'll get away with it. I'll keep the standard plate in the boot just incase.

Oh, yes, the rear lights: get some proper silvered bulbs and lose the fried egg effect!

I have those in the front and side repeaters but the rears are actually clear. There's a lense inside the light but in the flesh you can't really see it.

Paul, that looks really sweet.

But (in my opinion) the gold wheels are a little, um...

I'd redo them either athracite or black. Go for the real stealth look.

But that's just my opinion. And we all know what opinions are like, right?

I've seen a photoshop of the car with both silver wheels and anthracite and with silver wheels it looks more "normal" and you don't lose the lines of the wheels. I'm a big fan of the sti wheels so I don't want to lose the detail on them. I'll see if I still have the photoshops and I'll post them up
