looking some help buying a impreza
hello im gona take the plunge and buy a impreza
ive been learning the ins and outs of owning an impreza for about 2 years now, i didnt want to jump in at the deep end and be completely clueless about running costs engine failures service intervals fsh gearboxs diffs tunning etc.The hardest part is knowing which car to buy, i have been to see a few v4 type r's 1 type r v5 a bugeye wrx and blob eye wrx.To tell the truth the new age impreza's were completely standard and wernt that fast compared to the type r's but they seemed more refined, im coming from a bmw set up for drifting with little to no comprise for roads especially here in ireland (im sick of traveling everywhere at 20mph), and i cant really make my mind up what model to go for. insurance isnt a problem as its only 1500 for the type r fully comp and around 1150 for the bug eye. i really dont know what model to go for i like them all, my maxium budget is around 5.5k for the car as i want to keep a few grand in the bank for the unforseen future.
if any1 has any advice i would be very thankful

Well looking back at all your previous threads it seems you have been pondering this for years lol. It seems you almost made your mind up a couple of times already and have had a shed full of advice. My advice is get one before petrol is something to tell the grand-kids about whilst toasting muffins over a solar panel.
Good luck

the bugeye has the strongest bottom end of the newages which is a good place to start if you plan on modding. like you say the newages dont feel as quick as the classics this is down to weight. you get alot more car for your money with the newages.
