hi, my top rad hose went on my 94 import wrx, however now i have replaced this and topped back up with antifreeze, water seems to spray out the fill up cap, the heaters dont work either. is it an air block? do i need to drain system and re-fill? checked oil and no sign of head gasket gone, any ideas please

keep the engine running until bled you will get some water gushing out of top or overflow untill thermostate opens and fans come on .
