Newbie saying hi
Hi all
I'm new to the forum so thought I would say hi. I have an 03 plate WRX which I have had for about a year now and am thoroughly enjoying the joys of Scoob ownership as its the best car I have ever owned by a country mile!!!
I have done a couple of styling modifications so far (colour coding side skirts and STI spoiler) but no performance mods as yet although will be starting on these soon funds permitting! Below are some pics before and after the updates.
I'm in Leighton Buzzard so will look forward to seeing some of you out and about be sure to give me a wave!
Gary
and now.....

Hello and welcome mate.
Car looks better now IMO! I prefer the bigger spoilers...just get the big scoop now
Are planning to get springs/coilovers to drop it a bit?
Also for about £100 or so, you can get an HT Autos front splitter that I think makes a nice difference to the front.

Thanks for the welcome guys
I am planning to lower it, get a front splitter and some mud flaps however I need to get some tyres and am after an exhaust upgrade in prep for a remap. Unfortunately funds wont stretch to having everything done at once so I have to prioritise!

Good nick your car. Instead of new tyres I would go for 18" wheels - look around for a wheels and tyres deal. The wrx looks quite puny from behind on its standard 17" wheels, particularly with a big spoiler on. Sti scoop would be worth it as well.

I was actually thinking about that however there is still a fair difference in cost of doing that - might have to call it an early Xmas present to myself as ideally I want some gunmetal coloured wheels which go well against the blue.

Exactly the same as mine good choice mine has 57500 miles on it now and still is as good as it was with 30k on the clock.
Make sure you service it well and find someone who won't rob you blind.
I like the big spoilers too but even for a replica its like £400 fitted which i'd rather use for tuning when I have the cash free.
For me its service time in a couple of months with tappets to do rear disks and a cracked fog light I think it will be steep!

If your'e thinking of selling the wheels which are currently on the car I'm looking for a reasonably priced set of 17 or 18's to use for an alternative tyre set up.
all the best
