Default So how much is your car insurance these days?

After nearly 3 years away from scooby ownership, I must have another one!
Getting quotes for nearly £700 for a standard uk turbo. Does this sound right for a 27 year old with 8 years ncb?

Sounds about right.
Mine is £550 for a heavily modded classic running about 400.

But I'm quite a bit older than you

Give Moley a ring, (Gary).

£318 with the RAC, they were the cheapest by far.
Also a cheap postcode

All the popular ones that get posted on here, were wanting over £500 for me.

Classic Import STi for £570 full comp with full ncb. 31 living in Essex with an SS postcode. My Dad just got his renewal through and it has doubled. £500 from £250. (Saga) he's 52 with full ncb. Think he'll be giving Moley a call in the next few days if he's not done it already.

I'm 27 with 7 or 8 years NCB (can't remember off the top of my head) - pay £600 odd with Keith Michaels for my standard RB5.

So, £700 doesn't sound outrageous.

£700 for me and the wife (STI), both 36, both with 6 points full no claims, sounds OK to me.
