Default Replacing head gasket

Hi

Was wondering if anyone could tell me how hard it is to change the head gasket on a V3 Type R ?

I blew mine a few weeks ago being a silly boy

Anyway the next day I took it to a garage but I'm getting slightly disappointed with how long its taking

I obviously don't expect them to drop everything and work on my car but it happened on the 29/8 and they got it the next day, it took numerous phone calls and a week later to find out the compresion was low (which was already known) so after that it was booked in for the 14/9 to get stripped, i phoned today and was told to phone back on Monday as its not even been started yet

They also told me that bottom ends usually go soon after replacing the head gasket, can anyone confirm this for me ?

Should I wait ? or just go and get it and get it fixed elsewhere ?

once the engine is out, quite strait forward mate.
if you have ever done a gasket before that is.

if your just wanting a standard fix, i have a set of head bolts i never used for sale.
regards to torque settings, theres a couple of threads with this on mate

regards the bottom end, ive done a couple of head gaskets. and non had an issue with the bottom end
