ive changed rocker cover gaskets and plugs but there is hardly any room to put your hands down there but if they do this every day im sure they no if it can be done with engine in,its got be cheeper than paying someone to remove engine then do the head gaskets.

It is certainly possible to do it with the engine in situ but it's a complete tw*t via that method. Far easier to do the job properly, and ultimately probably quicker too with it out on a stand. On the basis of this issue alone I owuld try somewhere else. Why get the work done by people who are volunteering to make things more problematic than they should be?

How do they known which side has gone?

How are they going to tidy up the block face to ensure no future Hg problem?

What is the "right price" to you?
