Ive owned various cossies over the last 12 years and can tell you that service history, receipts, old mots and just signs that the car has been well maintained as with any performance car is a must.
These cars are serious money pits if they have not been maintained, if the engines have been built by a well known specialist and the body is good and free from accident damage then everything else is an easy fix, my last engine build cost 15k and the total outlay to get the car how i wanted it was 40k plus.
An awesome machine and an oldskool power delivery (all at once), just keep your wits about you and listen for any knocking, top end rattle and smoke on start up and on the overrun, all expensive to put right.
Great cars if you get a good one but not good if you get a bad one, good luck.
