Finally picked up my first Impreza, STI MY05!
Hi,
Yesterday me and my fiancee flew from Manchester to Inverness to pick up our first Impreza, a WR Blue MY05 Sti, and thankfully it was as described when we got there, so did the deal and started the drive home!
What better place to test drive the car, we drove down past Loch Ness, Fort William and Loch Lomond and the A roads there are fantastic and twisty! we took our time as we didnt know the car or the road, but on the 380 mile trip home the car was faultless and goes very well!
This is the car in question, i will get my own pictures up when i have cleaned it, but for a 5 year old car i think it is immaculate condition!

What do we think? We got the standard 17's, prodrive sports cat, and standard BOV as part of the deal as well, and got it for less than advertised!
Thanks,
Craig

Saw the cat D one, but it had to be blue!! and really put off by the cat d to be honest!
and that one in manchester i never saw advertised when i was looking, but no pictures in the advert puts me off straight away! i agreed to buy this car two weeks ago so thats why i say it has taken time as we had to travel to get it!

Out of order PH PCM are a well respected seller of performance cars.
Like the OPs car, black wheels look I'd de-tango those front lights though
TX.

Only kidding
Seriously though, this is a thread that has been killed for the OP, let him have the enjoyment of showing off his new pride and joy.
Paul you have a fair point although immy has tried to explain, I can see where you are coming from as I am sure so can others but I have to say immy is a well respected guy on here and has supplied many a very good and clean car to members on here. Ok the spelling may be wrong but his customer service and after sales from what I have seen speak for themselves. If you wish to go else were due to the spelling and not give PCM or any other company a call then that's you up to you and best of luck with the hunt for the slk for your mate.
Immy let it go, you cant please all of the people all of the time, you have got caught in a bum fight and it can go on all day so let it ly now mate as there is no need for it.
TX you star, you do love it don't you, although same thing let it go mate as you are fighting some thing you are not going to win. Cheers for the pm I appreciate it and I will try and get that address for you as soon as I can

Wow i'm not quite sure what has happened to this thread since I last posted, it seems that it has decended into rat ****! haha!
Thanks to those with genuine comments about the car,
Neil B1, in Lostock mate
Bob R, maybe a slight drop and a slight tint on the windows, after that we will be pretty happy! its the fiancee's daily driver so not going mad with any mods, and it is fast enough as it is, even on the low boost setting for the missus!
Nick Schofield, Yeah a long journey, we took the scenic route and it took about 9 hours! got 310 miles to a full tank which i was impressed with! that was a mix of stop start, fast, and steady driving so about the same as my old focus, which i am very happy with, and certainly not as bad as what people have been saying to me!
Fatboyslim, thanks for the shout out!
Thanks again for the comments, good and bad, i have frequented many forums over the last 6 or 7 years or so, so i am used to the banter that exists, and love a good 10 pager when they get going!
