Thanks FUD think people are put off by it being cat d but as you know the damage was minimal and should have just been insurance repaired. There are 1000s of cars out there people are unaware have been unrecorded/insurance repaired, this car has also been through 2 mot's since repair & with only 13k its like a new car + extras

Nice car fella, Cat D cars dont put me off in the slightest, even with Two young kids as there is no Structual damage (just cosmetic damage).

Im sure you will have no issues selling the car.

It was'nt it was more of an issue with the aftermarket stuff like 1k wheels & the 1k suspension fitted insurance would not value it correctly hence the buy back ment insurance payed out less & owner at the time kept his car + cash, he was also in the motor trade so buy back was more appelling me thinks

just in answer to a couple of pm's
sadly can't find damaged pic's but...
Damage...
n/s rear quater dented
n/s rear arch trim broken
side of rear bumper broken
rear wheel damaged & pushed into arch
Repair....
n/s rear quater straightened
n/s rear arch trim replaced
rear bumper replaced (all above pro painted)
rear wheel replaced
the rear wheel was twisted in its wheel arch but due to having tein coilovers fitted it had simply bent the strut but just in case the full rear suspension was replaced there was no structual damage at all
car also had a full geometry setup/check
So repaired n/s rear as in the pic below...

I know people who have had cat d cars and they can insure them no problems, just need to shop around.

The only insurance differance on a cat d car is getting the insurer to value the car correctly, (which is fine if done correctly and declare everything) not relevent to any points on your licence, points will affect £££ on any car insured

Same offer as before so no thanks i will not fuel a car i am selling, i am a private seller not a trader it may well have close to 1/2 a tank in it when sold as i very rarely go lower than the 1/4 but thats it, as for tax the offer is'nt enough to throw £230 tax on it, i will not tax/fuel a car im not going to use unless i am happy to deduct so from offer price on the car so as in total it makes a price i am happy with...

Eh up there.
Genuinely Still got £9850 offer on the table here if it has the tax on it and a full tank of fuel???????????????I know you would of dropped below what you want but honestly the cad d is a big issue as you prob starting to realise. Also look whats come up very recently on the other websites. There are a few good possible options now for people with this kind of budget and requirements bud.(I pondering also)
Its possibly just unfortunate that I have set and am right at the very max of my prepared spend on your car because of a few other costs I will be incuring.Once again I am not here to offend just being honest.
Cheers.

Is this stubborness..... Your £150 away from the new lowered ask price... £150 = 1.5% short of the total ask price and your still deliberating.

The Car is Taxed for 5 months and he has already said he normally has around half a tank of fuel in the car..... 30L I guess around £35 - £40...

you might be best PM'ing the seller as he clearly has the car priced up at a fair price, so global messages just become stubborn replied due to the nature that neither part will back down.

Agree with above nobody taxes a car with 5 months remaining it is daft, £10k is really good value and I would buy this great cat d car in a flash if I had the funds!

Why not agree to settle on £9800 and you can top up with V-power on the way home?

Best of luck with the sale (and sorry for the spam)!
