got a link to it bud?
depends what your after scoob wise for that money you could pic up a similar millage 03-04 sti which has the 6 speed box the 330mm brembo`s and 265 bhp out the box.
would you plan to mod or keep standard
what kind of power would you like?

hi steve.
if ure paying cash then look in the for sale section as u can pick up a hawkeye 07wrx for 8k,full serv history.
all scoobys will get the dreaded rear knocking, find out if the rear shocks have been changed and if not make sure ure warranty u get will cover it,
and as above, put a link up to the car so people could give u better advice and all the best in ure quest to find one mate

Steve, if you plan on doing any form of modifications on that car, dont buy it, buy an STI instead.
One negative (or positive, depending on how you see it ) is that during the period these wrx's were sold, they had an offer on, PPP or 3 years free servicing, looks like this one is the 3 years free servicing.

Hi Tony
To late for me as I have taken the plunge and got a standard WRX, was to good an offer to turn down.
Just wondering why you say dont buy it if you plan to do any mods, and get an STI instead??
Not sure if I am going to mod mine yet

The STI is a totally different car, they look similar in the shell, thats it, everything is uprated on the STI, suspension, LSD's, gearbox, clutch, brakes, steering, engines etc.

even though the sti has alot more uprated bits the wrx is still a cracking car
i had my first one from new and done loads of mods ws running 285 horse and round 300 torque was so usable and gave a few high powered sti`s a wake up call as while they were waiting on massive turbo lag i was off down the road lol

Hi mate, buy a Scoob (Sti/WRX/Whatever) - whatever you do afterward (other than sell it), you still have a Scoob. And yes, they sound magic. And they go magic. And they empty your wallet magic
