Default Pair of newbies to the subaru.

Hey,

Me and my partner bought a Version 7 Sti last weekend, so only thought it would be right to join up and say hello.

Slightly modified , i'll post pictures below.

Approx 380bhp.

Just looking around for a carbon splitter and carbon scoop then i think we'll be happy with the exterior and start a little more on the engine.

Any suggestions welcome as we are new to the subaru life style.

Dental floss works the best for removing badges and doesn't scratch the paint. Nice looking car there

Yes, have not got round to doing the boot yet, will do it in the week no doubt as then we can give it a good polish too.

Yes, need to sort the air filter out, as its not getting much cool air at all, infact i would prob say it doesnt get any cool air.

Need that sorting and something with the transmission, have a strange crunching in 4th gear only !! May take it to Roger Clarke in few weeks for a good good check over.

Crunching doesnt sound good, could be a worn clutch, or a gbox recon could be on the cards.

Check the gearbox oil level (with the engine cold or you may burn your hand), its on the turbo side behind the intercooler (the dipstick that is)

Level seems fine, clutch seems fine. We think its the actual gearbox meaning this needs addressing. Any ideas to get it sorted? Gearbox specialist ? Or what are our options upgrade wise?
