So OK you will get more breaking it.
But how desperate are you for the money.
As you also have to take into consideration the sheer andout of time and effort that goes into building one of these cars properly.
If you dont totaly have to don´t- hang on to it and store it. As often there is more invested than just the sum total of the parts.

it's not a decision i am rushing into

the car was standard when i purchased it so i know exactly how much it has cost in time and money to put together, just can't imagine anyone buying it as a whole for the amount i would want

Could you not return the car to standard and sell the uprated parts then sell the whole car afterwards?

i would actually prefer to sell it whole but i can't see me making any money back for the next one

it must have cost me over £18k to get it to where it is and returning it to standard would mean basically rebuilding it again as everything would need to be changed

i think i would be happy to get around £6.5k if i where to sell it hole but is it worth that sort of money i'm not sure

You must know what you paid for the parts fella? I'd put almost new ones at 75% of cost & older ones at 50%. You'll only know what to sell em for once you start getting interest. Sorry to hear that you might break as there's some great Scoobs going to the breakers yard in the sky at the moment

Ting tong, I think you will get 6.5k for that car all day long, if you were happy with 6.5k, im sure someone would buy this to break it and save you the hassle, there is a lot of profit in it for somebody.

I remember coming to yours for that gearbox Phil and seeing the car in all its glory. Aside from the rear lights and stickers, it's exactly what I'd want in a classic - understated looks and obscene power/torque.

£6.5k is a very reasonable price for such a machine, pending the engine/gearbox are upto the job of 400bhp+

I'd pay that very swiftly if I had the ££ available mate put it that way

Good luck with what you decide to do

mate, that turbo from personal experience pulls like an animal ....whatever you do don't rush into it, as I know the time and efforts that have gone into getting her to where she is now. You'll always have a place in mine if you do sell or break up.

JP

PS: Good catching up with you earlier today.
