Default Excessive oil consumption .....baffled!!!!!!!

OK......had a full rebuild done at api a year and a half ago but have only done maximum of 5000 in that time. Went for all the goodies ie steel rods, forged pistons etc and i ran it in to perfection for 1500 exactly as instructed by David. The problem is that its using loads of oil but its not blowing out the exhaust at all...ive had numerous friends following me and they all tell me there is no sign of blue smoke at all.....there are absolutely no oil leaks what so ever so where the hell is my oil going.Im totally baffled!!!!

Any ideas as to what is going on here??

i had this issue with no catch can, found all the oil was in the boost solenoid and piping as well as filling all the intercooler pipes

since fitting a catch can it hardly uses any oil, where as before it seemed to be using nearly a ltr everytime i used it.

dont be fooled into buying an expensive one (its just a can)

i grabed mine from a kit car £15 thats the way to do it, its just an alloy can with a drain plug

The black canister is a carbon canister. Some crazy idea. Look it up, you can lose it and fit the can there.

Thats what I did on my V4 Type R

Type R owners.......where is the T for the 2 rocker cover breathers as its all looks totally different to the pictures in the guide above.
Does anyone have any install pics for the type R so i can get an idea of where to run the pipes etc
