Default Audi RS4 drivers

Its right what Clarkson says about RS4 drivers, the t****rs who used to drive M3's now have these!
I had one so close up behind me last night im sure he was trying to listen to the music I was playing!
He obviously though my "old" girl would be no match for his "beast"! Wrong!
He didnt look happy when he pulled alongside at the next round about

By "burnt" do you mean "deposited in the inlet manifold in a manner that b*gg*rs up induction and saps power"?

If there was ever a car in which a catch can should have been supplied as standard, it's that one. Vorsprung durch Technik indeed.

I know that not all RS4 drivers are the same Mac, just like all imprezas are not driven by 20 yr old chavs.

I too adore the RS4 and is the car I would by for everyday use if I ever win the lottery

100% agree, genuine rs owners understand what performance cars ar all about and they normally drive with you whereas the above forementioned company jobsworths who think they are above everyone else are normally the ones that try to hang of your *** and make their precious phonecalls at the same time what lovelly safe drivers they are (obviously i mean the bad ones).

Mac

That is a great looking motor you have there. Colour, wheels, plate all look good.

I still have a bit of an RS4 itch. Must scratch it one day.

Really!!!!

My fuel bills are no worse than my hawkeye STi or my Spec C before that and servicing if done at a independant like a lot of scoobys is quite reasonable mate.

And i must thank Molex Wrx for insuring it for less than my scooby as well, just my experience.

had an older rs4 in for service and front discs £1500 each. was shown regular service bills from audi at £6k - £8K. thats not what i would call cheap.

Ok an independant will be half the price of of an Audi dealership but i couldn't believe the price of parts

Bingo!! I get lots of hassle from Audi drivers on the motorway, but it's never the flagship models, it's always the lesser spec ones...usually diesels!

A mate asked me the other day why they're referred to as part of the VAG group (I know, I know) I replied it's because they're often driven by c**ts!
(I was having a bad day!)

Thumbs up rs4

hi all
the rs audis are nice cars...fast too.
i always liked the audi back when i was a teen the quattro turbo was my fav.
what is the power of the rs4
i know the r8 has 415 bhp
rs6 has 507 bhp
but to be honest i will stick with my 2004 sti 340/340 will be looking to upgrade the turbo soon. maybe a 20g or md 321 ,..looking for 450bhp
then thats it no more ...saving some cash for holidays..

RS drivers seem fine, S drivers not so... average is about 23 here and think they are the mutts nuts. I would have an rs6 estate as a family car though hehe

Isn't the power figure a little incorrect in practice too, if I remember right? IIRC a lot of them actually end up making a bhp number that begins with 3, whatever the published figures say.

True, most fail to make the 400 mark. However with a little fettling they can make well over 400bhp. Rob (pippyrips) on here had one of the best RS4s around. Looked fantastic and sounded even better.

+1- completely agree with this. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't have a 'TDi' of some sort with a young cocky rep in the drivers seat thinking he has something to prove against my STi.

Must stress that for me personally, I still find the 3-series boys are worse than the A4 boys, some ridiculous behaviour from 320D drivers I've been subjected to lol...

Never had a RS4 behave badly towards me, although one 'daddy-cool' with his baby son in the back of his S4 estate made it his mission to beat me off the lights. I smiled and pulled away very slowly while he shot off, as I'm not overly keen on burning clutch aroma first thing on the way to work.
