Default TMIC to FMIC Scoop Idea's

I now have a front mount fitted and wonder what to do with the scoop on the bonnet to avoid the weather going in there, mind it never goes out in the rain if it can be avoided though it still sits outside.

Do i leave it as is or fit a reverse scoop...or are other options out there

any ideas or pointers would be appreciated

Sport bonnet maybe, or do you want to have some type of vent on there??

yep I want a vent & have thought of a carbon reverse from Japan.....just not sure how this would suit the dynamics of airflow through the engine bay & across the turbo / gearbox etc

Reverse scoops are ment to aid air flow throught the engine bay, i'd say put a good one on (HT AUTOs) or a repuatable japaneese one. It should serve a purpose if it's designed correctly buddy

I'd ask Harvey with regards to reverse scoops on a Scoob. A matehas just got his Scoob back complete with a FMIC as well as many other goodies. Harvey didn't recommend fitting one (something to do with charge temps) and suggested leaving the other there.

Just stick an oil cooler in there, unless it's a show car, then polish it first...

I don't think that will fit your early bonnet. "Looks" far too big.
