Default Scooby`s been remapped.

Been at Scoobyclinic most of the day and not long got home. OMG, what a difference . Old figures - 284.5 hp with around 280 odd Ft Lb..........new figures - 336.5 hp and about 328 Ft Lb

On the drive home the car felt much more responsive and smoother, just wish the roads weren`t so crap

Dunno if it`s all in my mind but the exhaust tone seemed to sound deeper too

All in all, well chuffed and a big to the guys at Scoobyclinic

So..........it's a completely standard engine?

So why does it need a remap? Why didn't Subaru put the map on it you have now, when it was built?
Just a thought

It`s a standard car with PPP. I had it remapped cos I was told at a recent rolling road day that it was overfuelling :-( and not boosting correctly. Now, the graphs are completely different ;-)

Cost? Well, it`s £550 plus VAT I was told......but on the day they added £50 for the dyno run (which I assumed was included). In all it was £705, but to be honest I am happy

I just assumed it was an integral part of a remap. Some people travel with laptops and do live mapping for a lot less, so my thinking was, a dyno run and remap ran hand in hand......oh well
