Default Got me car back: woo-hoo!

Collected it today from Harvey. Despite it not being run in, (new bottom end), and being limited to 0.6 bar boost on a running-in map, and being told not to go over 3000 rpm at the moment, it's a hoot to drive. I have to be soooooooo feather footed
I can tell it's going to be fun...........

2.5 litre brand new short engine, split, and fitted with forged pistons, Manley rods and ACL bearings.
TD05 20g turbo, 740cc injectors, FMIC, 6-speed box and diff, uprated clutch, brake bias mod, FPR and a remap coming up once it's run in. At the mo it's on a running in map, set by Bob Rawle.

Seddomyster: yes, 2 litres, running about 280. This should be good for around 400/400 Hence the 6-speed, to cope with the torque.

Darms: going to look into it this week, but I'm away next week, so maybe after then. Got an ACT gauge to fit too. Then I can monitor what is happening outside and in the inlet.

LOL, no thanks, just drive it feather footed.
Honestly, a 100 mile drive back from Darlington made my right ankle ache keeping it UP

I wish UK cars had top speed control, like on my lad's Clio Sport 197.

Blimey you must have one the lottery! Hope you enjoy it, go and drive round the M25 a few times and the running in will soon be done
