I'm the proud owner of a 2000 impreza wrx (import) in
white, i'll probably asking some of those daft questions that
get asked & i'll be looking for some advice on which
upgrades to do.
cheers mark.

Welcome
Some basics for you
I take it you mean your car is a 2000 model year (MY00), if so then you have a car mapped for 100 ron fuel, you need to run the car on shell v power or tesco 99 to keep the ecu in check, your ecu is mappable, the maf sensor is more sensitive to vibration and oil contamination so leave off any induction kits/oiled filters, you have crappy 2 pots on the front (they really suck) so new brakes are advisable and service intervals are 7.5k or 6 months, whichever is first.
That should keep you going
