Firstly, how do you know you have 285bhp?
Secondly, unless the ECU as been changed or had a daughter board fitted, it cannot be mapped.

A 3 port boost solenoid would be useful & a Z32 MAF. Power FC is a good ecu to go for.

Your ECU cannot be mapped as such so you need either the ESL as outlined by JGM above or you need to go for an aftermarket ECU. I suggest you start by finding out what the guy who rolling roaded your car proposes.
There are a number of options starting with a secondhand Apexi, New ESL which will work out around £550 fitted and mapped or a new Simtek fitted and mapped for around £800 + vat. The Simtek is a very capable ECU and there is a cost option for antilag and launch.

Id guess that it was an ESL daughterboard that was proposed for £550.

ESL board will be the cheapest option but be aware that your MAF may reach it's limits before you hit your targets depending on what rolling road you use, closely followed by your injectors and MAP sensor.
To see the real potential of a 16G you'd need to run a set of 550cc injectors combined with either a later MAP sensor or aftermarket boost controller along with a solution for the MAF limit, whether it be a larger MAF or MAP based ECU such as the Simtek.

I think that ESL are working on a MAP solution, which I will be very interested to see.

Andy mentioned it in a recent post I believe, but he was having a little spaz-out about the contents of a post, so Im not certain.

not really it, you need to tell us what is inside, prova is a jap tuning firm and can be very aggressively mapped, but that doesn't mean to say it hasn't had the board/chip changed for something else hence why i have asked for inside picture.

He could if it was an official release which is why I hadn't mentioned it. I have an RA here running a development ESLMAP board but haven't been informed that it's for general release as yet.

To the OP don't be put off with varying dyno results they will vary from day to day, dyno to dyno, operator to operator. It's not unusual to obtain a print out one day, say post remap, then lose a few horses the next time you pay a visit
