Default bc coilovers on a classic yes or no

right am just looking for some advice from people who have fitted these on a classic ,as i think am about to purchase some .
just recently i have seen a couple of threads regards them knocking, am looking for just simple answer YES or NO if your happy with them, if any problems and if you managed to sort the issue , also anyone that purchased the next to orginal spring rating , how does this compare to orginals?

thanks in advance

On my classic as well. No problems. Very happy with them.
Under the impression it was new age cars that were knocking more...but dont quote me on that!

Don't mean to hijack - I'm in need of the same information...

I guess people are generally running 5/4 spring rates? These seem to be the SN rates of choice.

How would this compare with, say, an STI5 ride??? What are your spring rates, thoughts and comments so far?

Have them on mine and no problems. Mine are a 5/4 spring rate. I find them just the same comfort as the oem suspension but way better handling.

o hell yes buy them.

6/5 spring rate. Best mod ive done. Doubled the speed of the car and completley changed the dynamics/handling to something much more fun than catastrophic understeer
