Question HatchBack Owners - Quick Question ....

... are the door mirrors on the new Impreza's heated?

When I bought my old girl 10 years ago I was staggered that the mirrors weren't heated - have they supplied that little luxury now????

In a time when cars have auto dimming mirrors, rain sensing wipers, dusk sensing headlights .... I just bet Subaru haven't put heaters in the mirrors!!!????

On my S-GT there heated, so is the bottom of the windscreen where the wipers sit, all operated by the rear screen heater switch.

(More cost cutting by IM)

The standard 2008 UK car (WRX & STI) was missing a whole heap of extras the Euro car got..

Your 330s is basically a Premium Euro spec car with Prodrive alloys, exhaust & map

You think that's odd. My wife's FIAT Grande Punto has but one heated mirror: on the passenger side!

I guess they forgot to change it over for RHD cars.

So, some UK cars have heated and some not?

Some fold, some not?

Where do you get Euro Imports from?

Edit:- just dug out a 2008 brochure, it lists that they heat and fold (UK car)

Do fold but not heated. Asked the dealer if the wiring was there for the heating as it was listed in the original spec and was told there is nothing in the doors for it.

Well I am very surprised that Pete did not get all the facts during his extensive dialogue with his Subaru Dealer and all the research he's be doing for the last few months.

Does that mean your considering a non-UK spec car Pete?

We'll have flying pigs next!

This is an early 2008 hatch spec sheet showing standard and Optional fitments for Japan, America, Europe R/hand and Europe L/Hand cars
