HatchBack Owners - Quick Question ....

... are the door mirrors on the new Impreza's heated?

When I bought my old girl 10 years ago I was staggered that the mirrors weren't heated - have they supplied that little luxury now????

In a time when cars have auto dimming mirrors, rain sensing wipers, dusk sensing headlights .... I just bet Subaru haven't put heaters in the mirrors!!!????

Yes mine are (Euro spec) and they fold at the touch of a button.

MOTORS S GT 29 April 2010 09:05 AM

On my S-GT there heated, so is the bottom of the windscreen where the wipers sit, all operated by the rear screen heater switch.

scooby L 29 April 2010 09:06 AM

Yep, heated & electric folding (euro import)

Paul666 29 April 2010 09:08 AM

Mine is a UK spec and it does not have them.
Paul.

What - they're not heated or folding Paul?

scooby L 29 April 2010 09:38 AM

(More cost cutting by IM)

The standard 2008 UK car (WRX & STI) was missing a whole heap of extras the Euro car got..

Your 330s is basically a Premium Euro spec car with Prodrive alloys, exhaust & map

silver demon 29 April 2010 09:52 AM

Yep mine heated and folding (euro import)

rb5 286 29 April 2010 10:11 AM

mine fold, not sure that they are heated (UK)

Turbo2 29 April 2010 10:17 AM

You think that's odd. My wife's FIAT Grande Punto has but one heated mirror: on the passenger side! :lol1:

I guess they forgot to change it over for RHD cars.

scooby L 29 April 2010 10:27 AM

:D

pslewis 29 April 2010 07:56 PM

So, some UK cars have heated and some not?

Some fold, some not?

Where do you get Euro Imports from?

Edit:- just dug out a 2008 brochure, it lists that they heat and fold (UK car)

Simon C 29 April 2010 07:58 PM

Diesels have folding and heated.

VinceW 30 April 2010 01:19 AM

my STI, bought new Oct 2009 fold but not heated, I think the 330S were heated and fold.

urban 30 April 2010 07:28 AM

We'll I can tell you for sure the 330S definately fold and are heated.

Do fold but not heated. Asked the dealer if the wiring was there for the heating as it was listed in the original spec and was told there is nothing in the doors for it.

The Trooper 1815 30 April 2010 09:25 AM

Well I am very surprised that Pete did not get all the facts during his extensive dialogue with his Subaru Dealer and all the research he's be doing for the last few months.

Does that mean your considering a non-UK spec car Pete?

We'll have flying pigs next!

pslewis 30 April 2010 01:05 PM

The Brochure I have says heated and folding .... my Classic has niether .... it seems like some are heated some are folding some are unheated some don't fold - it's madness!

firesorter 30 April 2010 05:34 PM
