225/40/18 look awesome...I had these on my redlines with Toyo Proxes, they handled and took the bumpy road well.

I went for 225/40/18., Yokohama Parada Spec 2. No complaints overall, maybe a tad twitchy in the wet.

im trying to decide on some new tyres too but for my new 17s. i had yokohamas on my old xr2i and they gripped well but lasted about 4months. what are the paradas like? also considering the toyo tr1s or the proxys. how long do they last?

i find T1Rs to be an over rated tyre tbh.
Yoko' parada spec 2's are pretty good in the dry - renowned for being dodgy in the wet

in response to how much the wheels cost me,.. they were £440 and i had trouble finding a set in gunmetal it were there last set from revolution247.com dealt with keith a sound guy and very helpfull. i also got a discount on the wheel nuts in black and a set of mcguard locking nuts in black for £50.00.
i had yokohama tyres on my last wheels 17s and they were hopeless when we had the snow and caused my accident in the first place by losing grip altogether on a bit of black ice,. granted any tyre would be twitchy on ice but they were always a bit of a handfull in the wet (very twitchy). I looked at getting some continental sport contact 3 tyres as i had them on my mondeo st tdci. and they were excellent in any weather condition. i havent had chance to purchase any tyres yet with working so much and rang camskill but no answer about 4 times.
my wheels came today and i cant wait to fit them and post pics up
