I drive past a large Auto Salvage auction place every day and they have huge carparks full of mashed cars. From the road I can see there is a UK300 with major front end damage. It's been there for about a month now.

Hi,
Yes it is definately a write off
as it has sustained major rear drivers
side damage and front drivers side
damage due to hitting the side
bars on a big roundabout, i did manage
to drive it home though, but after about 5
minutes it blew up.
must have either been a disrupted fuel line
or a dead short according to the fire brigade.
Air bags did not pop and i had no control when it
went in to a flat spin.
Thankfully i am fine and no one else was involved

BUDA, sorry to hear that. Glad you're alright - that's all that really matters. STI thru insurance?
So, is the UK300 now a UK297 then? Will Subaru re-issue new stickers?
(With apologies if this is in bad taste. You seem fairly sanguine about it)
