Hi guys,
My 54 STI PPP battery is dead.
I'm looking at upgrading - possibly Bosch silver top but budget is important.
eBay seem to have a pretty cheap price although i'd never really go there out of choice.
Anyone know which battery number/ code would be right and anyone know where i can get the best price?
If you can recommend a better battery please let me know.

Also the car has a quite impressive ICE system but the car cigarette lighter is not working - i think it has been disconnected - but i have no idea how to resolve this, I have checked the fuses and they're ok and the light is on around the lighter. Any one able to help???

Halfords Calcium batteries come with a 4 year guarantee, got one on my bug left the car for 6 weeks battery was flat jumped it but it was not good for the battery. Had a couple of non-starts checked the battery one cell was dead got a replacement straight away.

Am not sure on the surround for yours but on my bugeye it is just a case of removing the stereo surround and heater control panel and you can get to the back of the *** lighter.

Last one on my 03 WRX, well the only one i have bought was a Varta. I only bought that through paranoia that it may give up and it was 5 years old and still ok. You say budget so not sure what would be any good. If you wanted to know i could check the numbers tomorrow as they are on the top.
