hi

i have a 99 type r and have it booked in for a remap so far it has a full decat 3" exhaust, k n panel filter, dump valve and a walbro fuel pump

do i really need a fuel pressure regulator?

and do i need better spark plugs?

and advice would be helpfull as the remap is in 2 weeks

 

standard fpr is more than up to the job depending what bhp you are going for! as for the plugs most would change the plugs just for good measure go for ngkpfr7b's and upgrade from the 6's

 

Have a chat with whoevers doing your map as to what you want to achieve - then they can tell what you will need to do to achieve it
if that makes sense

 

Still running standard fpr on mine at 450bhp.
