Question quick FPR (FSE) question

Cos I'm a bit (?!) stupid, can someone just confirm this for me:

Fitting an FSE FPR:

(1)Bottom of FPR goes to 'middle' steel fuel pipe on N/S of manifold (fuel return ?) using supplied fuel pipe.
(2)Top of FPR goes to manifold for vacuum, replacing existing vacuum connection to current OEM FPR, using supplied vacuum pipe.
(3)Side entry of FPR connects to rubber fuel line removed from (1).
(4)New adaptor replaces OEM FPR and connects to fuel line previously on OEM FPR.
(5)Supplied gauge connects onto FPR (And can remain so...(?))

Simplified, obviously, but I've a copy of 'neils' instructions for the detail - just wanted a summary of the connections...

Oh - and would you use ptfe tape on the threaded connections, or leave them plain ?

Ta,

Mark

Awww, everybody ignoring you? There there, don't fret

(1)Bottom of FPR goes to 'middle' steel fuel pipe on N/S of manifold (fuel return ?) using supplied fuel pipe.
Yup

(2)Top of FPR goes to manifold for vacuum, replacing existing vacuum connection to current OEM FPR, using supplied vacuum pipe.
Yup

(3)Side entry of FPR connects to rubber fuel line removed from (1).
Yup

(4)New adaptor replaces OEM FPR and connects to fuel line previously on OEM FPR.
Yeah and this is a pig. Be VERY careful to put it in straight and watch the O ring as you do cos you're almost guaranteed to sheer the side of it off.

(5)Supplied gauge connects onto FPR (And can remain so...(?))
It says not to, but I've left mine on. Set to about 3bar at idle with the vacuum hose removed.

All in all it's not too bad a job, removing and replacing the oem FPR is by far the worst bit. Finding a suitable location for the new FPR can lead to a bit of head scratching.

Use some PTFE tape when fitting the fittings to the FPR as they tend to leak otherwise.
