Default BIG UP THE CLASSIC IMPREZA :)

Just had my 1996 impreza sti in for it's mot! Passed without one problem reliable classic scooby wins the race again....yyyeeeehaaa!

Its like any car, keep them well maintained and they will pass things like MOT's, but look at alot out there (mainly classics btw ) and they fail their MOT's and classics are more likely to have issues over newer cars which is a pain also

bought my 94 classic with a months mot on it, just put it in and hey presto 12 month ticket, no money spent (dont you just love the feeling)

had mine done this week and passed no problem. As tony said tho, its all about just looking after them, same as any car realy.

10 Years here and 8 MOT's under her belt ...... not an issue, ever ... but then she has got all her CATs and hasn't been messed about with

Hey marcus na not put it on yet, still to buy some oil to refil it with! been a busy bee! Oh the greddy is now Reading 0.97 in fourth gear mate, that sound better? He he he

You can still go up to 1.2 bar without any problems mate.
Castrol Syntrex it theoil you want, its only about £12 you tight git!

Ditto, but mine is a Classic JDM STi with 100k on the clock. Last MOT had an advise, nail in the rear tyre

Only had 2 MOT failures in 26 years motoring, and those two due to lack of thorough checking on my part (both broken springs funnily enough). It's about how you look after them, not what make they are or whether they are modified or not....
