Default turbo noise help please
hi, should i be able to hear my turbo wine when i accelerate. when you accelerate it gets quicker but stops above a certain rev, is it just me bein paranoid or is it on its way out

Has the turbo always made this noise or is it something that has just started ????

i think its alwasy been there but couldnt be 100% sure tho

Mate ever since Ive had mine it makes that slight whining noise and think mines is fine

check your inlet pipe for splits near the compressor inlet bud. check VERY carefully, especially underneith. they can be hard to identify...

is your exhaust a full decat? when i replaced my exhaust i would hear the turbo "whine" more. only till about 3,000 rpm though.

I can hear my turbo spinning up due to the induction kit that is fitted. Save looking at the boost gauge when cruising on the motorway.

mine makes a whining noise when on boost. how loud is yours mine is only just noticeable over the exhaust.
