Its fair to say the Yanks are a league above us when its comes to tuning and moding.
Its helps when the basic standard of living is better than over here in rip off Britain, your average middle class person in the U.S. has more money in his pocket than average Jo in Britain. So he can go out and have a better car or tune his car to a better standard than if he lived in Britain, this obviously helps the market for tuning to be much bigger than the UK.
