Sti Roof Spoilers
Hi,
I've recently purchased a carbon fibre rear window roof spoiler for my new age 2003 impreza, and wondered if anyone can reccommend any body shops to fit it, local to Bromsgrove, Worcestershire?
I've tried a couple and they have never fitted them before and don't want to take the job on......................
I do know that to get it to fit it has to be slightly flexed to shape, but nothing major. So everyone suggests bolting it to the body work.
Any ideas or solutions to fitting these would be ideal, also any reccommended body shops that you have used to get yours fitted in the Worcestershire area would also help.
Thanks for any help given
Adam

Hi,
The spoiler is not bad, not sure if 100% carbon fibre, as seems heavy to me for carbon fibre. But will look nice when fitted. But must point out that the spoiler is not a direct fit like they say. I expected to place againest body work and fit. but you do have to put slight pressure on it to get it to line to the form of the pillars. So may not be the best choice to bond it! But never seen one before so they could all be like this.
Any other people with roof spoilers like this have to flex slightly to fit?
Thanks

Where was it from mate? As got the company to send an extra spoiler through the post to clarify it wasn't a bad one, and it fitted exactly the same!
Easy enough though just a case of pushing it onto the bodywork as marking the holes or bonding. So i'm told.
Its going in Thursday to be fitted. So fingerscrossed it comes back ok..........................lol

I got mine from a company in the states who also painted it (matches perfect) I did buy it through ebay though and it fitted like a glove,i just had to drill the pillars and use the bolts and bonding gel provided

At last spoiler now on, bolted and bonded, It aint going know where! Expensive to have painted and fitted, but worth it. Just be carefull of garages changing quote prices. Especially on Oswald Street in Redditch. Quote £80 then want £164.50 as harder than they thought and that was just fitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They got £120 and that was the lot. Auto Garage Robbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
