I have 01 WRX with 4k on the clock. I want to improve mid-range performance but understand certain mods invalidate the warranty. so I have been recommended the ppp. is this a worth while 'investment'?

I can only recommend you get a dealer to source you one for a test drive..shouldn't be too hard to arrange.

Cool

Yes, it is a good upgrade provided all the bits are fitted/work but much more can be gained with De-cat aswell ( my MY01 PPP with de-cat 285 bhp 258 lb/ft )

Cool

Some say it does, some say it does'nt, either way i've had it done and the difference is amazing, if something breaks then i will find out about warranty but until then i'm enjoying my car

Theres an aweful lot of info on the MY01 PPP - so do a search back!!!

Its great - the best performance thing you can do to the car thats warrenty friendly!!!

Pulls loads better and sounds great.

You MUST get it done but first thing is to ask yourself this question......

Will you be happy with just a PPP - or will you want to de-cat it (or other mods) later??? If so - you are really paying top dollar for warrenty friendlyness.....

If the warrenty isnt an issue - go for a full exhaust system for now and get a ECU upgrade as and when they become available - it will end up costing less for lots more grunt!!
