Thanks BOB5, I'll take a look............
No pictures against a flat surface there though, so it's still difficult to see where the beam cut off is.
Have a look at this thread

Look at how 'the watchman' has taken his pictures and how well the beam is spread, he has retro fitted projectors.

I'd not lok too carefully at any HID conversions of cars with an H4 bulb......the low beam cutoff is genearally crap, and the high beam is so scattered that decent uprated halogens out-perform them.
I await photos to convince me otherwise. Not Rhetoric, *****, photos

[QUOTE=alcazar;9143527]I'm not impressed with the shots of mbd sti2: as stated above, loads of scatter and the main beam is very short of "throw".QUOTE]
i know what your saying by looking at the pics but please note these are taken on my 3 mega pixel samsung phone and the car has factory lamps not even face lift crystal type also the car has not been cleaned for 2 weeks the head lamps are caked in salt off the road
i will try to get it cleaned and use a 12 mp camera the main beam is fantastic in the flesh the pics do not do any justice these are genuine bentley parts fitted to my car.
i do agree that the h4 bulb set up is not as good as others but this also goes for all h4 set ups this is why they are not really used in new cars, projector set ups are the best type of light to use but i am not converting to this set up i have tried h4 halogen upgrades of all makes and even higher wattage with correct relay set up to take the load and they are not even a patch on this hid kit.
may i ask what model car you are running and what lamps your using

Classic UK car, Morettes, Philips Vision Plus in the outers, standard H2 in the inners, plus a pair of Hella 1000FF genuine HID driving lights where the fogs were. Now those ARE night-into-day lights
Got some pics somewhere, dip, main, main plus driving lights, but due to site malfunctions, can't post 'em at the mo. They ARE on here already somewhere though...........

alcazar not a kit - bmw z4 projectors mounted in existing headlight housing. must admit though the bulbs & ballasts came from BOB`5. car passed its mot this week with this setup.
now trying a twin projector setup

trying to get the correct alignments on both projectors is a job & a half - nearly there though.
oops missed a piccy: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...NALPICS005.jpg
