MY02 subaru badge change
#1
Call me an anorak but I have noticed that the MY02 has a different front badge to the MY01 and other previous models. The larger star now joins up with the other smaller stars. A small insignificant change only noticable on close inspection (I noticed when washing car at the weekend). This badge also features on the new Forester.

One large one, 5 smaller ones.
So, thats 3 changes to the MY02. To date we have found:
1/ Aerial incorporated into rear screen
2/ Ignition key slot illumination
3/ Front badge alteration.

... compared to what?
The MY01 JDM car has the aerial in the back windscreen...
Did you not spot:
4./ Different grille (comes out over bumper)
5./ Different rear badge.
6./ Fog cover STI in pink, not blue on WRC blue car
(plus you also get less power with the UK Spec !!!)

How's the build quality though Yorkie? Gotta be honest, I'm impressed (sic!) with the MY02 build so far. Door shut with a nice 'clunk' anyway. And, the damping is top notch over the abysmal Yorkshire roads.

You would be amazed if you scrapped the underseal off one. Most of the underbody components are stamped FORD as you say same floor pan as a mondao, also same lock internals, infact loads of things are the same as previous ford models. We are getting the new wagon soon looks like a Mondao estate with a posh grill! But seriously i hope it sells coz otherwise weve had it,and ill be back to a mini metro!!
