Question Chip or Z4 ????

Hi all i have a 1994 wrx Auto wagon. I am thinking of of fitting a Z4 ecu or a chip (not ebay chip). I have a panel filter and a cat back scorpion exaust thinking about a decat pipe. Which way would you guys go. Would i have to change to a tdo5 with the z4 or could i still use my tdo4. Which one would give me better gains
Thanks Neil

Ported manifolds will always help, especially with a larger turbocharger. Whether youll really benefit I cant say though. All Classic automatics used the TD04 turbocharger with a 'Wagon 220PS engine as it was smoother.

Id probably suggest moving to a TD05 with one of Scott's (or Enduring Solutions) chips and a de-cat and seeing how it goes. Theres little point mincing about as youre unlikely to feel it through the torque converter...
