Default what tracker?

I'm picking up my first scoob (bug-eye wrx) tomorrow night

Planning on getting a tracker fitted, peace of mind, insurance purposes etc.. Any recommendations? Or are they all pretty much the same?

Cheers

TRACKER - Stolen Vehicle Recovery Products

It may have one fitted by Subaru already if it's a UK sourced car. You may need to check

three versions i think.
1.tracker retrieve. this is a tracker that you activate if the car is stolen.
2. tracker monitor. this is a tracker that will activate if the car is stollen without keys. (i.e towed away). this has to be activated if you have your keys and subsequently the car nicked.
3. tracker horizon. this is the all singing/dancing version that will notify you if the car is stolen regardless of keys. tracker will know if the car is stolen before you do. (out of character hours movement- moving without ignition etc)
price goes up depending on the level 1 being cheapest.
hope this helps.

I have an RAC trackstar plus fitted and if i'm not mistaken i think it's one a a very few that you can actually have transfered between vehicles. So if you up grade you car you can just have your tracker removed and refitted to the new motor ( at a cost ) but you would only have to inform them and pay an admin fee to have the details changed for the new car.
