All depends on your year/model as to what they change, but there was only an uprated fuel pump on the my02 STI's, after that they had decent ones as standard

As for the decat downpipe, no they are not suitable, the cars can boost spike and det, this kills the engine, hence why its not recommended.

Tony seems to have the nail on the head with the de-cat.
as for the PPP phone Prodrive upto be 100% sure on whats included for your year on your car thats what I did with my hawkeye and it saved me buying a new uprated fuel pump for the next stage of my mods namely re-map this sunday (very excited) as it was fitted to my car

The newage cars had more than an ecu reflash. They got an uprated Prodrive Y Pipe and IC piping, free flow cat and larger WR Sport single tailpipe.

Cost original was £1600. The Blobeye WRX with PPP was quoted 4.8 sec to 60 mph 14.1 sec to 100 mph. Power was 265 bhp 257 lbs ft.

The STi got a new ECU, high flow cat and sports silencer and pushes performance to 305 bhp and 299 lbs ft 0 - 60 mph came down to 4.6 secs and 0-100 down to 12.2 secs. Original cost was £1995.

Hope this helps.
