Have you already paid for the work?
If not, then send him a letter by registered post to state that you want your cards back within 2 weeks or you will recover their value via the small claims court.
If already paid then talk to trading standards and report them. They may suggest sending another registered letter to ask for the finished cards back within a reasonable period or you will be recovering their value and the cost of flocking via small claims.

You need to get someone local to call in. Any Scoobynetters near this place that could pop in and have a word?

doesn't Yoza live up that way.... he'll get them back for you.

as above, recorded letter threatening action and tell them a duplicate has been sent to your solicitor.

nightmare scenario

Got a friend that was just about to send his dash off here, might tell him to think again after reading this.

Is there anywhere else that do it that is reccomended? From Scotland so the closer the better but was gonna have to ship to flock it so no huge problem.

i used Suffolk flocking services once... never again!

not a totally different situation to this, sent my dash etc off for flocking, heard nothing for weeks, rang them and eamiled them, never got a reply.

left a ****ty answer phone message and they finally turned up a few days later.

all good you would think.... until you saw the quality... or rather lack of quality! lumpy in places, not covered in others, had not bothered to mask air vents etc properly.

so needless to say, wont ever use that bozo again!

but, to the OP, good luck with getting your stuff back!

now i know a lot of people come on here making ****ty posts about companys but as always im sure there is 2 sides to every story and it would be wrong for someone to come on here saying 'dont use so and so because theyre crap' im sure flock it have their side of the story

what if they had a backlog of work to do before they got to your repairs? if he had 100 paying customers stuff to flock before he repaired yours (which, it sounds like he is doing for nothing) i know which ones id be doing first.

this whole scoobynet 'cliche/ bandwagon' needs to stop your all grown ups stop acting like kids, if you have a problem you sort it out between you and the company you dont come on here making posts that theyre crap just because you, had a bad experience.

Its Pathetic

I can see where your coming from and some of the threads should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I thought a forum was to share knowledge and experience on a subject that we all had an interest in, to help people out when there in the **** and to steer them away from the mistakes that we have made ourselves.

Not really.

any normal company worth using would simply ANSWER the phone message or email and simply say, have 100 others to do,will do yours then, not ingore correspondences

wrighty i can see your point but im already a customer who has paid for the work which was very poor so why should i have to wait for others who have not paid an the company dont want to talk to me or when they do dont even be honest if he was this thread would never have neen posted but as i paid for this last year an he new about it before xmas an only sorted gettin them in may dont you think thats taking the pi55 an to say you would do the 100 paying customers first would make your customers that have paid feel the same and end up giving you a bad name

So you would have no loyalty to your existing customers who have already gave you their cash and are now, after finding fault with your work needing a little reassuring to do possible business in the future or the total opposite and avoid you?

Makes absolutly no sense in my opinion, a big part of running a business is/should be about customer service, the least you can do is be honest to your customer and not lead them down the garden path as it would be, again would you return to a business or for that matter recomend them to your friends/family if they treated you like sh*t, i know i wouldnt reguardless of the standard of their work.

Sorry rant over.
