No such thing, a WRX UK300 isn't an STI anything...

A STI-cker doesn't make it true.

Wink

There is no such thing as a uk300 sti. You can get a bugeye uk300. Or a blobeye wrx300, which is what that car is. But none of them were sti`s.

The 2005 UK300 is a WRX with a PPP fitted.
The one in the ad has a few mods - STi front upper grille, dump valve and there is an additional (tuners?) sticker under the WRX logo on the bootlid
Overvalued IMO with the brakes/pads needing doing and the buckled wheel. Even more so if the 30K service has not been done.

Mel

no question its a blob WRX with PPP at best, judging by the tail pipe and IC hose. It should have more like 265bhp if its a PPP as the blob gets an Ecutek style ecu as opposed to the gems one we know and love!!

Standard Blob WRX (may have PPP) with an STi badge on the grille LOL

The interesting thing are the wheels, they are gold sprayed bugeye WRX items, the STi gold wheels had non-parallel spokes and dimples on the rim

That car is a standard WRX 300, they came with gold painted WRX alloys, STI style covers instead of fogs, blue insets inside. They came with PPP and low level spoiler.Price is great for an unmolested 2005 car, that horrible grille, buckled wheel and dump valve suggest its cheap for other reasons to me. Add around £500 for brakes, 30k service is around £350, if not done. 8000 extra miles over whats quoted too
