Default Customer opinions and advice - PCM

Anyone dealt with them before. I've never bought an import before so not sure what I'm supposed to be asking and looking for. He has a car I'm really keen on.

Anyone bought from them, advice etc. Sorry for vagueness of post

Cheers

This one...

Subaru Impreza - Cars - Performance Centre Manchester

I have only heard good reports but they usually only import "top end" imprezas so not cheap

bought my Spec-C from them/him a couple of years back.

Couldnt fault the service, was first class all the way.

Immy (the owner) is an honest chap, kept me udated with my car (as it was still in Japan when i bought it), even sorted a few niggles out afte ri had the car.

So, thumbs up from me!

Nice Car

I see it has a roger Clark exhaust so has been around in the UK and it might be known to someone on here . The cars themselves are quite rare, not many here in the UK, Gussy from CumbrianScoobs has a silver one

Just heard from Immy. Some bugger has written the same model off and is waiting for a payout and may be coming down to buy this one and see what damage he can do to that one

Some people!!

Ah well, keep looking.

????? collierm the second one up from that was Immys own car at one time and then was sold to a bloke under the user name of Ghost. There where only 3 hawkeye spec-c type ra's in the uk properly registered in the uk thats not including the blue one in ireland.Mr RA who posts on here wrote one off and that has since been put back on the road and is the dodgey one knocking about now and again.I belive all the RA hawkeyes bar 1 were brought in by litchfields it wouldnt do you harm to contact Ian and get him to price you one up.

Aye, Immy told me it was his own car and that he sold it to a guy who is being stubborn and won't budge on the price (His choice, his car!). He also told me that he has someone who is waiting on a payout and then wants to come down and buy this one.

I will contact Ian, I much prefer face to face contact but its a bit tricky with being in another country. Will try tomorrow again to get hold of Ian. Immy has been good so far and offered to try and source me one from Japan. All depends on costs and I need to really sit down and speak to them properly and see what they say.

This one made it into the uk before the euro 4 regulations came in so didn't need a model report, but still get the car fully inspected by a subaru garage before buying (I suggest prosport in stockport ) though the price is a little steep and try knocking it down if the other guy doesn't get it, if not go give litchfields a shout to see if he can source you one, all cars imported from japan require model reports, though that changes soon, so ensure the car has the correct paperwork or you can be in a bit of bother
