Listen to this for lucky
Last week i was going down the A627 oldham and i got a bit giddy and was traveling at about 140mph and was pulled by the police as soon as i saw them i slowed down as fast as my four pots would allow.
The police followed me for a bit then pulled me over.
the officer said when i got out of the car "Give me one good reason why i shouldnt send you straight to court" so i said "Coz your a decent bloke".
Then he gave me a bit of a talking too said they had it all on camera then said dont do it again and let me off.

Not big, not clever 140mph on a uk road even if it were a motoway save it for a track mate, yes you were lucky but sorry you should be in court things can happen so quickly at high speeds and next time the out come may be a different story ' sad day car up for sale as I have lost my license' or worse.

I know that stretch of road well. Coming from the Leeds roundabout it's a nice uphill stretch where everyone guns it to get past slow hill climbers. Then after that, everyone wants to be the last one to pull in for the Oldham turn off - 
It's difficult to resist giving it a blast. There aren't usually any police on that road but it shows you've got to be careful for yours and others sake.

140mph on the public road is idiotic and definatly nothing to brag about.
Personally I think the police officer who let you go needs his head testing too!!
Learn from this and use your car sensibly, or if theres a next time you or someone else might not be so lucky.
