Default Cosworth Sump baffle & STI anti surge fuel pump

Hello,

I have a 2005 STI Type UK with TSL 333 upgrade and am wanting to do some track days with it.
Brakes and suspension have all been upgraded but I want to make sure the engine is up to it.
Is it worth fitting the Cosworth sump baffle plate and an STI anti surge fuel pump assy?

Thanks in advance...

Cosworth baffle plate doesnt really do anything about baffling against oil surge. It will stop it breathing quite so much but if you are running track tyres you will still get oil surge if you are driving quick enough.

Same with in tank anti surge... works to a degree but you will still get fuel surge (just with a bit less in the tank).

Fit a proper baffled sump (lateral do a nice one) and a swirl pot if you intend on drivign fast

You get what you pay for huh!
I'll get a proper baffled sump then..! Not sure about the swirl pot though? I'll have a think about that...
Thanks for the advice!

cheers.

The hyperflow anti surge tank works ok but I still got fuel surge at 1/4 tank on road tyres on it. better than 1/2 tank without it but still not perfect.

Paul at Zen stocks these.

Would you say the Hyperflow is better than the Spec C ? I appreciate that swirl pots are the proper solution but its still a road car. Just trying to improve things slightly.
Thanks for the advice !
