Default Car running excellent after remap Part.2

well dont know where to start from but i have forked out for another remap but the final results very impressive and worth each and every pound. car running spot on making correct power and no knock/det issues what so ever. it was just a jolly good day for me as simon made my old vf23 perform to its peakest making a near enough respectable 330/330. i can praise simon for his trusted knowledge all day long but let me keep it brief, he is a top guy and he is jolly good infact he is jolly great and he is the one and only JGM that we all look up to.

a word of advice for those who look forward to a remap in the future, just make sure you go to the best like simon so that you dont have issues like me with unreliable people who dont know what they are doing.

special thanks to simon and charlie at surrey rolling road. sorry for ripping your ears apart with that loud exhaust

a song to simon from me YouTube - For he's a jolly good fellow

I don't understand why you still need to twist the knife - can you get over it?

Simon is a great mapper, would definitely recommend him too. But neil @ slowboy has always done a sweet job with my car, so I'll be going back to neil for my next remap

Pissed and moaned for all and sundry and it eventually came out that he (yes the cars owner) decided to faff with his Apexi Power FC himself

Then he has thr audacity to say the drivvle he did above with regards to the previous map

By the sounds of it, you don't know what happened either.

Infact if I were you, I'd use a pushbike and leave your car at home

firstly I am just glad you are now happy with the car.

I think unfortunatly Kay when you get annoyed you come accross all wrong on here and get slatted as you have.. even when you have good reason for your stance.

after 3/4 of an hour reading the first 99% of the above thread THEN the guy admits f@@king around with the settings himself WTF!!!

i am an owner who has never had his car mapped (except for PPP that on at the moment) i was seriously considering having a pro-map done in the near future, from first impressions (reading the original thread) i would have stayed away. but now im not sure which way to go

i need some reassurance guys

BTW Niel has conducted himself in the most professional way IMO. hats off to him

stop trying to cause problems ! don't you think their are enough on here with people getting ripped off ?

just beacause you read a thread dos'nt mean you know everything unless you are;
1 the owner
or
2 the first mapper concerned

this is supposed to be a forum for enthusiasts lets all get along (except the people who insist on causing trouble)

you have to be in my shoes to seriously understand the full mess up. why doesnt the car run **** now after simon has mapped it, can some one answer that for me? unlike before where it had to be mapped on 5 occasions but still it was detting? overall i appric8 neils attempts to resolve the issue i dont have nothing against him i am only sharing a very happy moment as this mapping session has pushed my car to its full potential. unlike before the car was just parked up and i was the one worrying about my det no one else! the first remap is supposed to be exciting and a happy ending but in my case it was not like that. this thread is not intended to cause no battlefield, just to share what i have been through.

Is it because simon mapped it on ecutek software and the other mapped on a much cheaper open ecu ??? I only ask as I have advised someone else away from this ? But I really think that is your problem and if you had went full ecutek in the 1st place this thread would not exist ???
