Default Mica Red Interior Advice

I have a Mica Red Bugeye and it has the very normal looking interior, the one with the airbags in.

I have been offered an STI interior in blue, first thoughts are this will be a total miss match, however i would be interested in what it does look like or is it a simple no no!

If anyone has any pictures or comments could you let me know.

Thanks

I have STI7 blue seats in my red mica classic and was going to think about having them reupholstered, but they actually work quite well colour wise.

Not the best pic but this gives you an idea:

Will get round to the carpet and door trim to match soon.

Thanks for that.

Just another question, if you bought a bugeye STI in red, what colour would the seats be?

They didn't make the bug STI in red, green or dark blue so you wouldn't have that drama.

It's a bit of a contrast for my liking. You could always try and get hold of the bugeye bucket style seats. They are the same colour as your airbag ones, but more supportive and will look much better in my opinion. Alternatively, buy some red Recaros like these

RECARO Speed Sport Car Seat - In A Range Of Colours on eBay, also Seats Seat Customisation, Interior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 21-May-09 13:34:07 BST)

Think i'll go for the bugeye bucket in a dark colour. Would love them in leather but will see what comes up and cost.

I'd like the blue STI stuff, but I've just forked out £800 getting the top end rebuilt on the wife's scenic

Reminds me, must check the lotto numbers
