Default Saloon vs Wagon

Just a quick one ,

which as standard is the better handling one out of the classics, just thinking of getting myself a track car and before i started with suspension upgrades wondered which had the better chassis ?

Right then. I have had three wagons, a Foggy and a saloon Scoob and never noticed any difference.

Many more people more qualified than I will give some pro's and con's but not me. Practically, you won't get your track wheels in a saloon, but you can in a wagon.

Same goes for days out, kids stuff and Ikea trips. Get some quick release bolts and a strut brace for the rear of the wagon and Madge is your auntie.

thanks dragoon, but this would be dedicated track car , already run 300bhp+ saloon just daren't take it tracking in case of ..........LOL

Can you fit a lot more in the hatch than in the saloon?

I've heard that the hatch is more rigid for the track.

I've heard that it's better to have 4 doors than 2, 4 doors offer better rigidity. But were talking to the extreme, as you wouldn't notice it!
