Default Moving battery to boot

Im going to be moving my battery to the boot soon to free up some space under the bonnet and was just wondering where i can get a box to put it in as im guessing that it needs to be sealed. Any info would be great, pics are a bonus

Thanks in advance

Try Demon Tweeks website, or any good rally parts dealers.

If you just want a little more space, you could fit a Justy sized battery instead (about half the size and a lot lighter), simpler solution?

Good idea but got it in my head that i want it out gonna get rid or the washer bottle as well and use my i/c spray bottle for my washers. Mad i no but i just hate the look of the engine bays and trying to tidy it up a bit and de clutter. Plus im really bored

Here is a kit for an evo that includes fitting.

NR Autosport - Aftermarket Parts - NR Kits - NR Autosport Kits - NR Battery Relocation Kit

Remember you are going to have to run a cable the length of the car and then rejoin all the cables that connect to your battery at the moment.

Hi

Relocated my battery and washer bottle a few weeks ago
Also using a sealed optima red top battery in alloy battery tray bolted through floor pan.
Sourced all the parts easily enough online
Fairly straightforward and apart from the weight distribution benefits it does free some space up in the bay which i must admit is why i probably did it.
only issue is that when i'm parked on my sloped drive the washer bottle is higher than the jets and gravity takes hold and empties the bottle
