WHAT'S UP WITH YORKSHIRE DRIVERS
Going over very old ground here but the Subaru appreciation wave/nod to fellow drivers is something I've found amusing since the 1st day I picked up my 1st subura 5 years ago. It's something I thought odd at first but now fully embrace as a fellow driver.
So why is it (and before you all start slating me I know it probably wasn't you) that when I've just spent a week on the east coast of Yorkshire did other drivers look at me like I was suffering from some involuntary twitch??
I saw a good 15 en route and during the week and only 2 or 3 acknoledged me.
Is it just something that ain't done up there???

I Live in East Yorkshire in Brid and I'm always waving to fellow scoobys a while back they would wave bck, but now they just ignore it.
Perhaps its because they are all stuck up goody toshoes. And It dosn't stop there as I'm a bus driver I always be polite and say bye bye when they get off and most of them stick there noses up and ignore you.

I'm busy walkin' t'wippet lad !
I first noticed "no wave-itis" when wealthy Hull types bought their missus a Scooby, so they'd have something to play with at weekends... the waves rapidly died away.
Back in '97 we all waved to show how lucky we were to own a Scoob.
Now it's a case of can't be bothered anymore.

Hey Dogs,
I ain't no southern ***** pal, North West of England.
Thank God for the Pennines, thats all I can say.
I had the mis-fotune to work in Hull last year, sorting out the flood damage.
No local trades men could do it due to the inbreeding going on.
It's like a scene from Deliverance. The Deep South lives again on the North East coast.
Should tell you something when theres only one road in and one out. M62.
Before any of you up there marry, please get blood test because if your related, your offspring could have two heads. It would put a dent in your giro's buying so many bonnets for the kid.
