Every other idiot on the road
Hi all
So i was driving down to Peterborough a couple of days ago to purchase a new rifle , as you can imagine i was excited about it..its always nice to get new stuff, so on the way down there i sat at 70 to 80 mph...happy as you like ...then once i passed Godmanchester every idiot with a Saxo and IntegraR wanted a race and i mean everyone. The problem i have is that becuase i have a Fire arm certificate i cant really get any points or been seen racing people. So this day was full to the brim of total tossers. Most of the A14 was uneventful but as said it all went mad! One of the Honda's that wanted a race actually cut me up ..THEN wanted a race...

Had exactly the same yesterday with a white volvo on the M11. Wasn't sure if it was a plain cop car trying to 'goad' me.
It was hammering down & the spray was v bad, so was driving to the conditions, but it hung around for ages before roaring off.
I didn't realise Peterborough was THAT rough that you needed to be armed!!

I only drive a wee Alfa147 and never have any prob with boy racers as they just don't see my car. Audi A3's Diesels naturally! and BMW 1Series pester me without reason everyday
Last night going home doing 70mph down the motorway, 1series was infront of me, i overtake it, 1series driver then speeds off around me and flies down the road, only for me to have to overtake him again due to him slowing down to 60. This happened at least 4/5 times ffs. I couldn't understand the drivers logic at all.

One of the reasons I think I have finally given up on scoobs. The older generation think your either a yound lad baseball capped boyracer and a menace on the road, and every yound lad base ball capped driver think your up for a race.
Fecked either way which is a real shame as they are undoubatable one of the best if not best value for money performance cars money can buy.

It is Dependant on where the spec camera's are on the A14 and where you join and leave. Parts of the A14 are faster than they used to be!
Anyway's! Saxo's and Honda's are ****e!

Because there really hot on that sort of thing, When i applied for it i had to write down any points i have or indeed have ever had ever. If i also go in for a variation i.e another gun of some sort they come round your house and ask a few questions then they always ask if you have anything else to tell them.... My FEO is a top chap but he made sure i knew what was expected of me if i was granted an FAC. Its all quite strict and they dont like any law breaking at all !!

I've never been asked about penalty points on driving licence, for either FAC or SGC..!
What force was this with, wasn't north wales by any chance..?
Edited to add, I've always found 3" LG Max do the trick..

I am with Essex and my FEO stated that i HAD to write down all the points i had plus anything else. It was a tricky thing ..however well well worth it.

I got mine 26-11-2007 so not that long ago, they were most insistent. O well. I like driving it and it makes me happy so i will ignore the idiots. Just concentrating on my shooting and smiling lots!
